Activity
Satya Budhi Foundation regularly organizes various religious and social activities at Buddha Gaya Temple, Satya Budhi Temple, and Samudra Bhakti Temple. These activities include religious ceremonies, major holiday celebrations, Dharma talks, and social initiatives. Each activity aims to strengthen virtuous values, foster harmony among followers, and preserve Chinese-Buddhist traditions and culture.
Devotion
Every Sunday
Devotions are held routinely every Sunday morning, alternating between Sanskrit and Mandarin each week. The devotions are conducted in the Mahāyāna Buddhist tradition, complete with chanting and rituals of offering flowers, incense, water, and candles.
Children Sunday School
Every Sunday
Children Sunday School is a division of the Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG) Sunday school, held weekly for children from kindergarten to 5th grade elementary school. This program is designed to introduce Dharma values from an early age, while also developing children's creativity, activeness, and character through various educational and interactive activities. Through a fun and loving approach, children are encouraged to learn, play, and grow in a positive and inspiring environment.
Youth Sunday School
Every Sunday
Youth Sunday School is a division of the Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG) Sunday school, held weekly for students from 6th grade elementary school, junior high (grades 1-3), senior high (grades 1-3), up to university students. This program is designed for a more comprehensive and reflective deepening of Dharma teachings, tailored to the age and understanding level of the participants. In addition to Dharma learning, these activities are also designed to sharpen critical thinking, creativity, and social awareness through discussions, simulations, and collaborative activities.
Market Stand
Every Sunday
Market Stand is a division of the Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG) that involves children of the committee members in simple entrepreneurial activities. After each devotion, they set up stalls next to the Bodhi Tree to sell prayer essentials, food, and light refreshments. This activity aims to cultivate responsibility, teamwork, and an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age, while also fostering a spirit of service to the congregation.
Satya Budhi Temple 140th Anniversary

In commemoration of the 140th anniversary of Satya Budhi Temple (Hiap Thian Kiong / Xie Tian Gong) and to celebrate the birthday of Lord Guan Gong (Guan Gong Sejit), Vihara Satya Budhi invited more than 40 monks from various countries such as China, Taiwan, Singapore, and others. This event aims to introduce Indonesian culture and environment to the international community, as well as to expand the reach and introduce Satya Budhi Temple globally as part of the preservation of Chinese-Indonesian culture.

Vesak 2569B.E./2025 event at Buddha Gaya Temple and Samudra Bhakti Temple was held with great solemnity and joy, attended by over 1000 devotees. This celebration commemorates three great events in the life of the Great Teacher Buddha: his birth, enlightenment, and parinibbana. The series of activities included devotional services, meditation, Dharma talks, and the enactment of Sān Bù Yī Bài (Three Steps, One Bow), where devotees walk three steps and prostrate once as a form of reverence and mental training. The success of this event was undoubtedly due to the support and cooperation of all committee divisions from the Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG), such as Devotional Service, Consumption, Usher, Market Stand, Equipment, and Footwear Storage.

Vesak Buddha Bathing Ceremony 2569B.E./2025 at Samudra Bhakti Temple was held to commemorate Vesak Day and honor the birth of the Buddha. During this event, Buddhist devotees bathed the statue of the infant Buddha with fragrant floral water as a symbol of inner purification and the cultivation of virtue. The ceremony included a Dharma talk given by Monk Nirmana Sasana (Monk Xue Hua) and sutra chanting led by Avalokitesvara Vidya Sasana Temple, aiming to cleanse mental defilements and invoke good fortune and longevity.

The series of activities included singing and dancing performances by the committee, storytelling by Sis Deta, and handicraft making activities with parents. AMVBG Fellowship Night

Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG) Fellowship Night was held at a villa for 2 days and 1 night, filled with various fun activities such as ice-breaking, team-building games, quiz challenges, communal meals, and music and drama performances from each participant group. This activity aimed for participants to get to know each other better, build camaraderie, and create memorable moments together. A warm atmosphere full of laughter permeated the entire event, which concluded with the announcement of winners and prize distribution, making it an exciting and unforgettable experience.
Inauguration of Samudra Bhakti Temple

Samudra Bhakti Temple has been inaugurated in a sacred ceremony filled with joy and blessings. The event was made even more special by the presence of over 20 Bhantes from various countries, who led the devotional service, blessed the vihara, and shared profound and inspiring Dharma. Supported by more than 30 enthusiastic committee members from the Angkatan Muda Vihara Buddha Gaya (AMVBG) who meticulously organized every detail, the inauguration proceeded smoothly and solemnly, attended by Buddhist devotees from around Bandung.
